Hemingway’s is a nice spot. There’s plenty of room at the restaurant, the rooftop is chill, and service is good.Price wise - it’s not very expensive, which is good. However, I still feel like it’s overpriced for the quality of what you get. The drinks are fine but the food misses often (even by diner standards).Still it’s a nice place to spend time with friends.Solid 3 / 5

Delightful!!! Especially to have a patio open 24x7.....throughout, come hail,rain, snow and shine!!! Really was a god send especially during the stifling pandemic! To sit, mask free knowing there is phenomenol air circulation and having freedom from fear ever getting sick!!! Was a huge relief for my friend who has immunocompromised kidsIt is a sports bar and the drinks were consistently pouring from the bar....Anything and everything your heart desires, the bar was guaranteed to offer all you wanted to imbibe!! Including multiple fireball shots!!!We placate our woozy stomachs (on account of generously imbibing from the benevolent bar) we had the fried calamari that hit the spot. I had a very well seasoned Jambalaya and my friend dined on grilled salmon. Another friend of mine was disappointed with her Jerk Chicken burrito and despite dousing it with a full bottle of tobacco, it didn't tickle her gustatory receptors. However the staff had taken good care of us and were consistently quick with our drinks, which kept us very pleased. Will definitely make a pit stop here again!

Ordered: Jambalaya, Lamb Shank, Clam Chowder, Mimosa, Bloody CaesarPrice was reasonable, given location in Yorkville.Food was disappointing, Lamb Shank very dry and warm, Jambalaya bland...Service was slow, despite being less busy towards the end...

Came here for a Saturday dinner on the patio with a group of friends (it was busy, but we made a reservation). Our server Dani was super friendly and personable - we all arrived at different times and she was happy to come back to take the latecomers’ orders so they had more time to go over the (quite comprehensive) menu. I ordered the lamb burger which was tasty albeit slightly dry. Fries were tasty and portions were decent. Overall a great spot with solid food and drinks.

The weather is getting warmer now, so we are looking for restaurants with great patios. This restaurant seems ample and cozy on Google Maps, so we chose it to celebrate the long weekend.We ordered a chicken salad and a chicken sandwich with fries. My salad was okay, but I liked their salad dressing so much!! It tasted like a raspberry basil vinaigrette, which was smooth, fresh, and not greasy.My partner loved their chicken sandwich; he said it was the best chicken sandwich he had in downtown Toronto. The side fries were also perfect!Overall, we had a great time dining here! The patio is huge and cozy, the servers are amiable, and the food is fantastic! We will be back sometime soon, for sure!

Evening meal, we were seated upstairs in the large “outdoor” dining area, and the ceiling heaters did a great job in keeping us toasty. Our server was efficient and engaging. Food was pub-style, large servings. I expected the (Potato) Peels and Dip appetizer to be small at $9.00 but it was lots for two people. Entrées: Chicken Souvlaki and Kiwi Lamb burger/salad. Both very good and also of ample size. Desserts: Pavlova ( pieces of Pavlova done properly in whipped cream and fruit ); Caramel Brownie Cheesecake. Both desserts were great. ( price per person $60. Including one alcoholic drink, HST and tip ).

I would describe my experience as average. I liked the salmon. It was a good portion. However, the rice lacked flavor. I had to add the sauce to it otherwise it's really tasteless. The vegetables were okay. The service was fine. It could be better. The waitress could be a bit more friendly.Edit: I went back recently with colleagues for lunch. We sat upstairs on the patio that is now set up for winter. They have a heating system on the ceiling. It's not very efficient. We were seated under it. It got extremely hot. Our heads were boiling hot. The staff kept turning it off and on because we couldn't handle the heat. When it was off, it got very cold. This made our experience uncomfortable.

A group of 13, ordered fish and chips, pizza, kiwi burger, Cesar salad, chili, chicken wrap, and I ordered their Classic Cumberland burger. It was good but not that good to persuade me to try another time.The waiter was so friendly. Cozy place.We were all eating our food But! They brought an order wrongly while we were almost done. They took it back and a while they brought one and they totally forgot about the other one!My friend canceled his order, however he was hungry but no time to wait more!

Being here totally brought back memories from college days! Would come here with friends for that Yorkville vibe and this was perfect! And after so many years later, it’s just as awesome as I remember! Don’t usually get food from here even in the “old” days! Their apps are just awesome with some nice drinks! The nachos were so filling alongside the poutine! Didn’t even finish off the nachos! It was that big! The rooftop patios (yes, plural) is awesome! Misting fans to keep you cool and super down to earth feel in this place! Service was awesome! The waitress was super helpful and totally checked in on us to ensure we were good!
